So when we go through trials in life there are things that we should and will learn from them. We can either learn and gain strength from them or we can become bitter.
I choose to learn and gain strength.
Here are a few things that I have learned.
People are basically good. It is amazing how many people have come forth with offers of aid. Aid of many different kinds.
Pain has it's place. It serves as a warning of something wrong. It can cause us to find and correct the problem. Whether that pain is physical, emotional, spiritual,or mental. As we seek for and fix the issue, we grow stronger. We must endure pain to appreciate the good.
Strength and comfort can be drawn from family and friends.
Many people have commented that they admire our faith. I can't speak for everyone here, only myself, but I am just on ordinary person who struggles like every one else. It is life experiences that shape or break our faith. We decide which.
Sometimes we have to suffer pain and sorrow in order to understand and relate to others. Pain and sorrow also help us better understand the suffering of Christ as part of his Atonement, something we will never fully comprehend.
Grandpas can't fix everything. But our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ can, if we let them.
