I don't know how we can ever express the immense amount of gratitude we feel for everyone who has been supporting us through this trial. Thank you to anyone who came to visit in the hospital, even if you didn't get to come back and see me. Thank you to anyone who has offered even a single prayer on our behalf, they have been felt. Thank you to everyone who attended Ethne's funeral, you added to the sweet spirit that was present. Thank you to those who have sent flowers, cards, gifts, donations, meals, etc. it is all very appreciated. Thank you to my sweet students who sent me gifts and cards, ran fundraisers and collected donations for me. Thank you to my amazing families who have been through every step of this process with us. Thank you to my in-laws for rushing down to help us, and for being there for anything. Thank you to my parents for being in the hospital, letting us stay with them, taking care of Edward, appearing on the news, and so much more. Thank you to my sweet cousins who decorated my hospital room and made it the hit of the 6th floor. Thank you to my aunts and uncles who have take time off work and away from their families to spend time with me and help my family with anything we need. Thank you to all the friends and family who traveled long distances to visit even just for a short time. Thank you to our wonderful ward for making everything go so smoothly yesterday and for providing a wonderful lunch for family. Thank you to my Grandparents for everything you have done for us and helped us with. Thank you to the emergency response team who saved my life, and my little Edward. Thank you to the doctors and nurses who helped Edward at Primary Children's and me at the U. And a HUGE thank you to Sean Warenski for being such a sweet and incredible mortician. He made my little princess look like a little doll and helped make the biggest trial of my life a little easier to bear. He took such special care of her and of my family through the entire process and I am forever grateful to him for it all. Thank you so much to everyone, even if you don't think you have done anything to help, I promise you that you have, just by being there.
If you are looking for more ways to help we still need prayers, support, and you can still write Salt Lake County and UDOT about getting the intersection where the accident happened (and others that are also dangerous) fixed so no one else has to go through this. Thank you for your continued love and support.

Thank you, Melissa, for sharing such a special and sacred time with us at the viewing and the funeral. I feel so blessed to have been there. I am so amazed at you and Lawrence and your strength. We love you and will continue to pray for you.
Thank you Melissa and Lawrence for your love, for your example of grace and faith. And thank you for being the sweet family that you are and letting us share such a sacred tender time with you. We love you so much and continue to pray for you!!
I love you so so much! I wish I could hug you right now. Thankyou for your hugs yesterday. I will send my hugs in a prayer for you and Lawrence and little Edward. I can't wait to see you again.
Melissa, we all felt such a sweet spirit as Grandpa read what you wrote, your thoughts, to us Sunday evening. It helped remind us of the many tender mercies that have blessed all of us. Thank you to both you and Lawrence for lifting and comforting us.
Love, Grandma Edwards
Thank you for sharing that experience with us, Melissa. Brett and I feel inspired by you and Lawrence. We are so grateful for your strong love and testimony. Thank you for your hugs which comforted me even when I wanted to comfort you.
Thank you for allowing us to be a part of this special time. you are all true examples of our Heavenly Father's love. I am truely amazed and blessed at the strength you and your family have. I am grateful we were able to spend some time with you (and the family) if even only for a short while. We will continue to pray for healing, comfort and peace. May God's love continue to surround you and comfort you! Love you all!!
Wow, Thanks you Melissa, You and Lawrence have taught us so much through this process. Although, it hurts, I have been so touched by your faith, and I have become so much more grateful for the simple important parts of life.
