As most of you can guess, I have a lot of time on my hands lately. What do I do with all this time you ask...
I read (and play games on my iPod, and blog some, and read to Isaac, and snuggle my baby).
So for a few weeks my mom told me I should read this book that someone brought to us and I was honestly putting it off. I can only take so much of certain things and I was sure that this book was going to be something that I couldn't take. Plus, sometimes it's just easier to loose myself in something inane and forget everything else for a little while. But I left to novel I was working on at my mom's house one day last week so I read this one. It is a quick read.
It is the story of a man who visited the other side and came back to tell the story (he is LDS, but never says it in the book).
It is a good book and I encourage everyone to read it. This man didn't just bring back a message for those who have lost a loved one, but for everyone, especially in the USA. He talks about paradise and the difference between there and heaven. He talks about the work that is done on the other side of the veil and about how we can make this life a little bit more like it is there. He also talks about a warning for this country and our future. I read it in short bursts in one day, so it shouldn't take anyone else much more.
It brought me comfort in a lot of ways, especially to know that Ethne is still around to help, even when I don't know it. I was also comforted to know that she was greeted by family, even if she never met them in this life. So go out and read it, right now... ;)

Sounds good! Thanks for sharing!
I absolutely love that book, and I can personally vouch for its accurate description of every detail.
I need to find that somewhere! Thanks, Melissa!
